The Informative Text control allows you to add text without preprocessing. When the HTML Enabled check box is checked the system will put the text in the web page as is with no preprocessing. You can include anything that goes inside the body tag.
We recommend that you use an HTML code editor such as Dreamweaver or HotMetal to create your page code. Then go to the code view and cut and past it into the text box of the Informative Text control.

5.1.1. Better Formatting

The simplest way to enhance the templates generated is to use text formatting in html. You can use any formatting, table or other tags to make your text more readable. Note this Related Test control will then be unaffected by the website text formatting template settings.

The advantage is you can add colors, links, images, etc to your text. When adding HTML references to web objects make sure you use absolute addresses. Remember your account comes with plenty of space to add extra objects (contact support for FTP access to your account).

5.1.2. Dynamic Sites

Since anything that goes inside the BODY tag of an HTML document can be used in an Informative Text control, you can also add JAVASCRIPT code to make a more interactive page.

Other embellishments are to add animated GIFs in the Informative Text control or in the Related Photo control.
