The Internet-Art-Marketing system was designed for artwork management
and search engine push. This makes the system ideal for extending
already existing art and gallery websites. There are two classical
problems we have found from the art world for their existing websites
that the Internet-Art-Marketing system addresses.
The first problem is that galleries/artists can not maintain their
own website. When they want to add artwork to their website or update
some information on the website they have to contact the web developer,
find a new developer or learn web development skills to perform
the maintenance.
Believe it or not this is a problem for web developers also. The
customer, the one who has the information to be updated, must send
this information to the developer for them to update the website.
Then the developer is just translating the information and putting
it on the website. Web developer resources are better used for creating
the graphic and dynamic portion of websites. This is why developers
use Internet-Art-Marketing for the artwork portion of the website,
allowing them to let their customers update and maintain their own
information.
The second problem is getting the artwork found on the Internet.
The Internet-Art-Marketing system has a many techniques used to
push the artworks into the Internet. These artworks will then be
found on Internet and lead the viewer automatically back to the
galleries/artists website.
