3.4.1.

The identification fields are used to identify the artwork
within the system and on the Internet. Some of these fields
have unique characteristics within the system so you will
want to read this page.

 |
3.4.1.1.
The artwork name is the title of the artwork. This will appear
on the title of the page when the artwork is shown in full detail,
which means it has a little more importance to search engines than
the words in the description.
When you first describe an artwork the default name is "New
Description". This is a key to the system showing it that this
is your new artwork you just added. You must rename the artwork
to something else otherwise it will be overwritten when you add
a new artwork.
3.4.1.2.
The artist name also will show up on the title of the detailed
view of the artwork.
These fields are dynamically processed to determine if this a new
artist or an artist that already exists in your account. This means
that if you want the artwork to be grouped by artist you must always
use the name fields with exactly the same text. Once saved the artwork
will automatically be added to that artist's portfolio and linked
to their biography.
For accounts with one artist you can use this feature to divide
your artworks into groups. Since accounts can have as much art as
you want, this feature comes in handy. To do this when you specify
the last name add some text that specifies the group such as "Weiner
- Sculpture". For example look at the artist list for dlweiner.
3.4.1.3.
This is where you decide if this artwork is going to be used to
bring in traffic or be only seen on your web site. When set to broadcast,
this artwork is then automatically integrated into the other relevant
web sites created by the Internet-Art-Marketing system. Some of
these sites are dynamically generated and are based on how you categorize
the artwork. These are the All-Art.net family of sites such as www.all-art.net
www.all-watercolor.net www.all-sculpture.net
When the artwork is broadcast it also is pushed into search engines
through static sites that are rebuilt every other month. These sites
are ugly to humans but rich in content that search engines love
to eat.
3.4.1.4.
The SKU field is used to link the Internet-Art-Marketing system
to your current business system. Use your current scheme for identifying
your artworks in this field. That way when talking with perspective
customers you can refer to that field also.
